Does Anybody know more about principal eigen values?

Hello Professor and My Compeers

I am confused about principal eigen value. So here I am posting two queries regarding that.
What is the principal eigen value?
Q1. If C1=-2 and C2: 2
Q2. If C1=-8 and C2:3

So anybody who knows about the solutions can enlighten this post.

    i think the largest eigenvalue of a matrix is also called the principal eigenvalue

    I believe that it is actually the eigenvalue with the largest magnitude, which in the case of our homework, is the same thing.
